Data Manager

Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a Data Manager in our Indianapolis, Indiana facility.

The successful candidate will:
This role will be responsible for the data integrity of the DNA AE 2100 Product Line engine data management system. This role is accountable for the continuous review of departmental engine data reporting activities to ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements. This individual will be responsible for supporting data management continuous improvement projects and complying with existing business processes, procedures and policies relevant to this role. This individual will actively participate in business improvement projects, internal and customer conferences, OEM activities and other internal/external project assignments. As required, this individual will participate in shop visit forecasting and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) modeling activities. A key responsibility will be to ensure that accurate product line configuration records are maintained. This role will be responsible for providing support to other project team members as determined to be appropriate by management. This individual will be required to participate in periodic special projects, as directed by management.

Position requirements include:
Basic:
BS in Engineering, Mathematics, and Technology or equivalent training/experience required. Demonstrated reliability analysis experience required. Sound technical knowledge of gas turbine engines required. 3-5 years experience in gas turbine industry. Experience working within a project team environment. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with superior skills in database management (including SQL). The successful candidate must possess strong analytical abilities and statistical knowledge.

Preferred:
Preferred applicant will possess good oral and written communication skills and have strong problem solving skills.
