Digital Design Engineer

We?re currently seeking a highly productive Digital Design Engineer to join our unique team of talented individuals as we continue our history of success.

 

Digital Design Engineer is required to design hgh speed digital board designs, utilizing best practices integrating complex systems, microprocessors, SDRAM/DDR, and FPGAs. Additionally, the engineer is required to assist with FPGA code development, trouble-shooting, debug, and test. Experience with modem technologies, DSP background, awareness of EMI issues, layout tool experience, and analog hardware are greatly desired. Strong leadership and teamwork skills are essential. 

 

Candidate must have significant experience in high speed digital hardware/circuit design with SDRAM/DDR memory, FPGAs, and processors for complex multi-layer board designs. Candidate should also be dually capable of developing FPGA code in Verilog and/or VHDL and have experience with design packages such as ModelSim and Synplicity. Lab experience using scopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers is required.  Specific design experience for high speed modem applications is highly desirable. DSP background is a plus. Experience with Orcad Capture for schematics and signal integrity simulators is desirable. 10 years minimum related experience required. DoD Clearance required.
