Ameriflight, Inc. is a certificated Air Carrier operating under Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. We serve major commercial banking consortia, independent financial institutions, priority freight forwarding companies, and other business customers.  Our fleet of 170-plus aircraft make more than 525 daily departures, flying approximately 115,000 hours per year to serve more than 250 communities throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

FLIGHT COORDINATOR/DISPATCHER

This is a challenging career position.  Part strategist, part problem-solver, our dispatchers make sure our planes are in the right place at the right time to handle our customers' needs.  Our 24-hour dispatch center is at the heart of our operation, coordinating last-minute shipments, rerouting airplanes to compensate for weather changes.  In addition to a high level of customer contact, our dispatchers are also in frequent contact with our pilots, giving them up-to-the-minute weather information using our computerized weather terminals, and following their flights using a state-of-the-art tracking system that updates our flight locations every 60 seconds.  Excellent phone skills, verbal and written communication skills are essential.  An aviation background or logistics planning background is preferred; however we will train the right person.
