Drafter
Drafter Description: Volt is searching for a talented drafter to work within the Systems Installation Engineering group. In this position you will draft in a CAD environment engineers' inputs into design documentation to support customers and OEM's requirements for production and retrofit applications.
Requirements:
The qualified candidate will hold an AS or AA degree plus one year experience in the avionics industry, or any equal combination of education and experience. You must be proficient in drafting wiring diagram layouts, cable assembly layouts, mechanical assembly layouts, and isometric installations. You must be familiar with working within an aircraft and avionics environment including working within of ANSI, military and global design drafting standards. You must be proficient in windows based software, have strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Pro/E (Pro E, ProE) and Routed Systems Designer. Must be able to work within a team of system engineers, drawing checkers, and support staff, and communicate with all level of co-workers.
