ELECTRONIC DESIGNER

Our client a large worldwide manufacturer of precision control components and systems currently requires an electronic design engineer with a strong aerospace or defense background

 

 

The Sr. Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and analysis of complex electronics for military flight control systems. Analysis includes reliability reports, ESS procedures, ATPs, circuit accuracy analysis, derating analysis, thermal analysis, etc. The incumbent will be a key contributor to the design/development team and will spend a considerable amount of travel time interfacing with customers and vendors to ensure product/component performance to the specification and that appropriate standards and processes are being followed.

 

 

Education/Experience:
Minimum BSEE + 15 years of experience or MSEE + 10 yeas of experience. Military/aerospace background, familiar with the design cycle of military products and mil specs is required. Knowledge of brushless servo motors and drives is required

 

Skills/Knowledge:


 The incumbent must possess a knowledge of closed loop control systems, seasoned knowledge of electrical hardware design and testing methods. The ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks concurrently is required. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, presentation skills, communication skills, strong analytical problem solving skills, self-starting instincts and good knowledge of advanced design/analysis techniques.
