Electronic Technician - Multiple Positions

Roles & Responsibility:

Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs analog and/or digital electronics and communications equipment.  Installs new Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) equipment (i.e. sensors, switches, cameras, power supplies, monitors, entry control equipment, etc.).  Coordinates activities concerned with the integration, modification, testing, and maintenance of existing equipment. Security Equipment installation and testing including Data Encryption, Biometric devices, Intrusion Detection (Physical Security Equipment/Systems), Entry Control Equipment (ECE) or Access Control Equipment (ACE), Exterior and Interior Sensors, Video Surveillance, Assessment, Recording and Monitoring.

 Qualifications/Experience

The Electronics Technician (Tech I, II and III) should have an Associates Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Technology or High School Diploma plus completion of an electronic trade school or Military Electronics Training.

Alternative work related experience, Military duty or training and/or specialized or higher education may be substituted as indicated in the table below to satisfy the Electronics Technician (Tech I, II, and III) qualifications.
