Electronic Technicians & Associate Engineers
Major Long Island companies in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens.
Test Technician: Test complex electronic assemblies per test procedures. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to component level. Use electrical and electronics schematics to diagnose problems on production PCB assemblies and customers returned RMA/RMW boards. Use standard test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, multi-meter, function generator etc. to perform test per procedures and trouble shoot to component level. Use standard PCB equipment like soldering iron to perform required repairs on multifunction boards. Assemble PCB boards to specification. Use programming equipment to program IC?s as required. Use computers, printers and other office equipment to write and print detail repair reports.
Sr. Electrical Technician: Under minimal supervision, this self motivated candidate will perform multiple tasks in set-up, calibration, testing & troubleshooting of electronic systems. Perform tasks within existing standard timeframes. Ability to understand the conceptual idea of a servo loop system. Ability to understand & troubleshoot complete integrated systems. Ability to conduct failure mode tests at component levels. Ability to understand the required specs & their relation to the functionality of the system. Submit accurate & approved timecards & costsheets. Follow a daily plan of activities. Ability to read & use schematics. Must be trained in the use of scopes, generators, meters, power supplies, & ac test fixtures. Aid in the writing of test procedures & documentation. Aid in the training of entry & intermediate personnel. Must possess pc literacy & communications skills. Assure strict adherence to company policies.
RF/MW Technician: Experience aligning testing and troubleshooting RF/MW sub-assemblies and systems. Familiarity with spectrum/network analyzers, power meters. Technical/military schooling preferred.
Engineering Aide/Associate Engineer: Will work closely with Engineers to develop new products. Familiar with RF/MW measurements. AAS plus 5-7 years experience.
Installation Technician: Responsible for the installation, start-up/test, & qualifications for field acceptance of company Process Equipment systems including reporting status/issues to factory on daily basis; developing/documenting standardized procedures for systems testing; running/measuring basic Ion Beam (& related processes), required metrology tools; and collaborating with the Production Manager & Project Manager to identify/resolve issues. Possess an Associates degree in electrical, mechanical or equivalent field with a minimum 3 years experience in vacuum related systems or technologies; experience with vacuum systems/clean room environment; hands-on experience with vacuum, ion beam, & sputter deposition systems; and strong customer service and Microsoft Office applications skills. 50% travel to domestic and international customer sites is required.
MIC Technician: Must have the ability to test, tune and debug MIC assemblies at the substrate and unit levels. Familiarity with microwave test techniques and equipment a must.
Electronic Technician: Properly operate, utilize test equipment: Power Meter and other test equipment as assigned. Experience working with industry-specific hand tools and instruments. Network analysis and SPC analysis. Trouble shoot 2 component level. 1+ years working in the electronics field. Associates Degree.
Microwave Technician: Align/Tune/ Test MW & RF Circuits and Subsystems. Trouble shoot parts up to board and component level. Work with oscillator and Phase lock loops. Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering. Be able to read drawings, layouts, flow charts etc. Able to work under a microscope.
RF Technician: est and Troubleshoot RF/Analog Circuitry. 5 or more years experience. Must have good theory base and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office. Associate degree or equivalent.

Manufacturing Technician: Hands on experience in electronic manufacturing industry. Production, electro, and mechanical assembly environment background. Create simple work instructionsKnowledge of standard manufacturing soldering process and tools. Windows XP, MS Office. Minimum 2 years experience.
Power Supply Technician: 3 -5+ yrs testing & troubleshooting power supplies to component level. Knowl of analog & digital circuitry req?d. Basic computer skills. A/S degree or Tech school.
Engineering Technician (Electro-Mechanical): Work with Engineers to build prototypes of electronic equipment build systems from engineering recommendations. An Engineer will give Technician instructions and Technician will build it and tes to make sure it works. Minimum 4 years working as a Engineering Technician building prototypes. Mil spec experience and manufacturing a plus.
Engineering Technician: Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as research, design, test, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype and production electronic and electro-mechanical products and systems. Additional responsibilities include writing assembly and test procedures, conducting engineering tests to collect data and determining faults/root causes as well as remedies. Associates Degree from a two year college or technical school and 3 plus years related experience. Must be proficient in the use of manufacturing test, development and diagnostic equipment with ability to create schematics, PCB layouts, net lists and files using ORCADS or PADS. Proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience in soldering, desoldering,SMT and through hole componenets a definate plus. Solid oral and written communication skills and flexibility to travel on an as needed basis.
Technician: 4 years experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic components and subsystems. Interpret schematics. Knowledge of PCB level test and troubleshoot. Able to work with Engineering to troubleshoot difficult design related failure. High School/Vocational or Technical School graduate.
Test Engineer
Engineering Technician: 4-7 years analog circuit troubleshoot repair experience. Associates degree helpful, but not required. Experience with power supplies. Find problems with circuits, break down and fix, set up test procedures.
