 ESTIMATOR (JOB CODE #06-30)

 

Helicomb International, a rapidly expanding aerospace manufacturer specializing in metallic and non-metallic bonded assemblies is seeking an Estimator.  Job responsibilities include developing quotations for customers based on cost estimates for parts, subassemblies, raw materials, labor and overhead and review reports for variances and performance against standards.  This includes obtaining quotations for materials and operations/processes that will be sub-contracted, prepares quotations for submittal to customers based upon current pricing strategies and is a point of contact for customers making requests for quotations.

 

The ideal candidate will be customer orientated individual with a Bachelor?s degree in technical field with at least two years experience in estimating. Extensive estimating experience or training in manufacturing operations may be substituted for a college degree.  In addition, you must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, contract clauses and requirements.  Previous experience in an aerospace environment a plus.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
