FSS AP Lead

Provides day-to-day work direction to the AP Processors and Scanner/Indexers, sets priorities and monitors progress.  Shifts workloads as necessary and acts as a resource for resolving invoice issues.  On an exception basis must be able to cover workload peaks related to invoice processing. 

 

Provides training and ongoing coaching to staff members.

 

Reviews metrics and identifies potential training issues.

 

Identify recurring or common problems and possible solutions. Works with internal and external customers to implement changes.  Escalate issues to manager as necessary.

 

Thoroughly understands the ATK AP business processes, system functionality and various cutoffs/deadlines.  Understands documentation and controls. Works with manager to identify weaknesses and solutions.

 

Education  -

 

 Four- year degree;  Accounting preferred. 

 

Experience  -

 

3-5 years related experience.

 

Mastery of Accounts Payable software.

Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
