FSS Acct, GL Entries and Reconciliation Admin
Job Description - Assist in the analysis of the accounting data.
Prepare monthly/quarterly account reconciliation's.
Research questions/issues from the internal/external auditors, tax department and business units.
Assist in the preparation of data used in the Balance Sheet review and annual 10K.
Review and maintain all manual, recurring, reversing, inter/intra company, statistical and importing journal entries and ensure accruals, depreciation, allocations, adjustments and transfer of costs are correct and supported with proper documentation.
Respond to all journal entry inquiries.
Additional Information -
Understanding of software applications as they relate to the General Ledger and supporting systems.
Some understanding of GAAP/FAR.
Analytical skills.
Experience -
1-2 years experience in a multi business unit environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and basic knowledge of Access.
Education -
Two - year accounting degree
