Job Description:


The individual will be responsible for the administration and financial close each period of the JWFC Support Team contract. Responsibilities include proper revenue recognition through analysis of contract terms and Revenue recognition Decision Checklists. Periodic financial close process, including accurate and timely reporting to of Accrued Vendor Payables, review and approval of EACs, development of time-phased annual plans and quarterly forecasts, A/R review and analysis, implementation of remediation processes related to SOX404 internal control requirements, as well as interpretation/communication of corporate policies and procedures. Other duties include timecard monitoring, balance sheet reconciliations, cost transfers, suspense maintenance, asset inventory assistance, AP rework issues, and other ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting.
The candidate will be responsible for all Finance and Accounting activities related to the JWFC Support Team with annual revenues estimated in excess of $60M. This position provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly visible organization within the SS&T BU. 
 

Education:


Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required, MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials desired.

 

Required Skills:
5 years experience. Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet and Word skills are required. Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently to adhere to critical deadlines. Attention to details, well organized, self starter and work well independently as well as part of a team environment. Candidate should have excellent analytical,communicative, and interpersonal skills and be able to interact well with technical staffs, administrative staffs, and various levels of management. Familiarity with SAP, SIMIS, BRIO, SETS, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) issues.
