Description:

Job Purpose:
Maintains helicopter airworthiness by completing repairs.

Duties:

* Perform modifications and repairs on UH-1, UH-60, and OH-58 aircraft.

* Perform Mast Mounted Site modification to OH-58 aircraft.


* Prepares work assignment by studying work orders and schedules; gathering parts and supplies.

* Upgrades aircraft systems and parts by removing, replacing, and installing items, such as, engine filters, clamps, starters, flight controls, hydraulic components, wheels, landing gears, brakes, flaps, and rudders using power and hand tools.

* Maintains air safety by adhering to regulations and manuals, such as, faa, ata, parts catalogues, technical orders, etc.

* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

* Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

* Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
