Helicopter Pilots

Omniflight Helicopters Inc. is the largest privately-held air medical company in the country.  We currently operate over 50 air ambulance helicopters and airplanes in 14 states.  Some of our programs include Native Air Ambulance in Arizona, Med Flight in Ohio, LifeLine in Indiana, and Mayo Air Medical Transport in Minnesota.  We are seeking Helicopter Pilots for the greater Indianapolis area.  Job locations are Indianapolis, Greensburg, and Kokomo.  If you are looking for an exciting and rewarding career, Omniflight is the place for you!

 

Job Duties: Ensure that the operation of the aircraft is compliant with company and regulatory guidelines.Safely and expeditiously transport medical personnel and patients to and from requested locations.Ensure safety and security of the aircraft.Keep program personnel informed of the aircraft status.Keep the aircraft in a state of mission readiness.Attend meeting as requested by the customer.Maintain a professional and well-groomed image at all times, both as a representative of Omniflight Helicopters, Inc., and the customer.

 

Required Qualifications:

 The individual must possess and project a professional image at all times.FAA Commercial License in category and class.FAA Instrument Rating in category.2500 hours total time.2500 hours in category.1000 hours as PIC in category.100 hours unaided as PIC at night.Must meet contract requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 FAA Airline Transport Pilot License in category and class.At least 500 hours of turbine time. 200 hours unaided as PIC at night.At least 25 hours in type.Previous EMS experience.College preferred.
