Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a Helicopter & Small Gas Turbine Engines Process Excellence- Black Belt in our Indianapolis, Indiana facility.

The successful candidate will:
Launch and deliver DMAIC/DMEDI Black Belt improvement projects in the areas of product quality, finance, customer service, aftermarket support, product quality and other business related processes on-time and at targeted benefits/results. Utilization of process simulation software (Monte Carlo simulation) techniques to deliver project results. Coach and mentor Helicopter Green Belts. Provide periodic management reviews of delivered projects during quarterly governance council meetings, include project status, benefit realizations, etc. Program manage Helicopter's quality systems, including oversight of Helicopter's AMCs/AMOFs/ARFs quality systems and utilizing six sigma methodologies to support continuous improvement (Less than 20%).

Position requirements include:
BS Degree in Business, Quality or other related field with a minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience and high business acumen. DMAIC/DMEDI Black Belt training and certification required. (Will consider a suitable/strong candidate for Black Belt certification sponsorship). Must have demonstrated proficiency in problem solving and implementing new and/or improved processes while delivering benefits to the business. Knowledge of the DMAIC/DMEDI methodology along with familiarization with lean methods and tools. Must be able to build and lead teams to accomplish project deliverables aligned with the goals of the business. Be a self-starter and results driven. Ability to learn and apply modeling and simulation techniques. Must be able to achieve Rolls-Royce Black Belt certification within twelve months from employment
