Inspector Technician ? 7741 AFD

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for a wide variety of complex inspection requirements.  With minimum guidance in a team environment and using independent judgment to determine quality and usability - responsibilities may include some or all of the following: Maintain accurate and up-to-date acceptance and rejection records and/or certifications systems as required by the applicable specifications. Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection and/or calibration of parts, tools, instruments or x-ray film.  Identify defective conditions and test failures and prepare all appropriate documentation and/or calibration history.

 

Responsibilities:
Inspection of machined and cast product and tooling.
Inspection of purchased and manufactured assemblies.
Completion of First Article Inspection to AS 9102.

 

Requirements:


Adept at CMM programming and inspection. Familiarity with Zeiss Calyspo software preferred.
Five years related inspection experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications.
Interpretaion of ANSI Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Ability to perform complex inspection lay-outs.
