LUH Supply Support Lead
Helicopter Support, Inc. (HSI) is the world's pre-eminent helicopter logistic support company with over 800 customers worldwide. The LUH (Light Utility Helicopter) Supply Support Lead position will be responsible for managing the execution of the LUH contract requirements.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to providing management oversight of the distribution of the parts to support the LUH program. Coordinate the packaging, handling, storage and transportation of material. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible to manage the supply chain activities with various vendors.
Required to coordinate with an IPT structure consisting of internal functional and external partners and major subcontractors. The IPT serves as a collaborative forum for communication of logistical and support information concerning the sustainment of LUH from readiness, supply availability, and lessons learned perspectives.
Supporting the establishment of the overall LUH-145 CLS support program for the US Army. Utilize the "commercial best practices" approach for supporting a US Army military customer in a commercial environment. Leverage the strength of the existing functional infrastructure within Sikorsky to execute the aftermarket support requirements of the contract. Responsible to stay within assigned budget and ensure deliverables are made to schedule.
This position will be located in Grand Prairie, Texas and will report to the LUH Program Manager, which will be located in Trumbull, Connecticut.
Education will include a BA/BS degree in Business Management, Finance or related field with 10+ years of experience. Master (`9s degree is preferred.
Assertive and results oriented individual with very strong analytical, program management skills and customer service background is required. Strong operations background and supply chain management skill set are required. Strong interpersonal, management and leadership are preferred. A general understanding of the aerospace industry and helicopter operations, along with experience with a United States Military customer is preferred. Understand working knowledge of EVMS and developing an Integrated Master Schedule for Contractor Logistics Support on a new aircraft program. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office is required.
