Lead Configuration Manager

As a Configuration Manager with Innovative Concepts, you will work on supporting projects for the IDM.  The IDM provides digital tactical communications including Situational Awareness (SA) and Command and Control (C2) for the Apache Longbow, Kiowa Warrior and other U.S. Army Aviation platforms.  The IDM has been utilized by the U.S. Army?s 4th Infantry Division and the 1st Calvary Division in support of the War on Terrorism.

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Configuration Manager with the ability to review, implement and drive CM policies and practices.  This individual will demonstrate excellent leadership skills by acting as a business partner with the Technology group.

 

The Configuration Manager will also be responsible for the following duties:

Maintain Rational DDTS/ClearQuest.  Performs builds under Rational ClearCase and maintain build procedures. Maintain Rational ClearCase VOBS.  Perform document CM functions for software and hardware.  Conduct FCS audits.  Maintain and execute CM plan.  Participate in CCB meetings.

 

Configuration Manager will support configuration management activities for various projects including production hardware support, as well as providing support to the software development environment.


Requirements

? 5-10 years of experience as CM Manager

? CM Management experience in current position

? Experience with SCM tools, in particular, the Rational Toolset including ClearCase, ClearQuest, RequisitePro,

o  Strong familiarity with Rational Unified Change Management (UCM) is a plus

? Conduct SW builds using related tools

? Provide customization of Rational tools and processes

? Designs and implements SCM training programs

? Experience facilitating a change management system including CCB activities

 

Education

BS in CS or other related field
