Lead Specialist - Intelligence and Operations Analysis

Description: Job Requirements: 24/7 Intel Analyst. Analyst supports customer by maintaining situational awareness on all events being monitored.

Intelligence Analyst position contracted in support of the Department of Homeland Security. This position is in a 24 x 7 SCIF facility located in NW DC. Analyst is responsible for reviewing and analyzing domestic and international intelligence that relates to all facets in protecting the homeland. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with providing intelligence support and coordinating with state and local entities on occasion. Additionally, provide indication and warnings information to senior intelligence analysts and executive leaders within DHS. Frequent interaction with national level agencies, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Central Intelligence Agency, National Security Agency, National Counterterrorism Center, Terrorist Screening Center, and others as required. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing as this position sometimes requires oral briefings and written presentations for senior level leaders within the U.S. Intelligence and Law enforcement communities. Will be required to work shift work duties as part of a 24-hour/7-day week. The environment is often fast-paced, exciting with demanding timelines which require significant teamwork and people skills in order to accomplish the mission. Much of the work can be best described as tactical/law enforcement intelligence vice strategic. Specialized experience may include risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, contingency planning, and/or intelligence gathering with emphasis on Middle Eastern terrorism activities directed toward U.S. interests both foreign and domestic. Analysts should be comfortable working with both the law enforcement, operational community and the intelligence community.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 9 years experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.

TS/SCI clearance mandatory.

Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
