Leadership Development Sr. Specialist

Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a Leadership Development Sr. Specialist in our Indianapolis, Indiana facility.

The successful candidate will:
Program design, development, and delivery: Creates and manages the project plan for instructor led and experiential learning activities. May include vendor management and/or university relations for externally delivered or purchased development solutions. Client Service and Talent Assessment: Responds in a proactive manner to client requests for leadership development services. Performs and/or program manages leadership skills and behavioral assessments using appropriate methods of collection. Follow Up and Evaluations: Creates follow up action plans that reinforce the transfer of skills and demonstration of desired leadership behaviors back into the work place. Manages the implementation of these follow up action plans. Team Partnering: Creates a collaborative team environment by supporting the work of others. Provides balanced feedback to peers and management and openly receives feedback from others. Works closely with line management, HR generalists, and Learning & Development team members in the North America region and United Kingdom to deliver leadership development programs. Change Management and Communications: Manages program roll out to include change management and communication plans. Work closely with Learning Coordinators and Learning Consultants to ensure they have the required information to support the development processes and activities.

Position requirements include:
Required: Bachelor?s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership or business related discipline. At least 5 years of leadership development experience required. Knowledge of leadership development best practices and demonstrated effort to stay current in the field. Willingness to travel (approximately 20%).
Preferred: Master?s degree preferred.
Seven or more years of leadership development experience preferred.
2-3 years management/supervisory experience. 5 or more years in large corporate environment.
Aerospace or marine experience desirable. International experience. Outstanding interpersonal and partnering skills. Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal).
