Logistician - Acquisitions (5111)

Support technical analysis of operational ILS requirements and operational logistics planning in support of DOD weapons systems/equipment. Develop comprehensive Acquisition Logistics Support (ALS) Plans for weapon systems, training equipment, subsystems, or support systems. Update program support plans to ensure adequate and responsive ALS support. Determine logistics support requirements for acquisition life cycle management. And conduct analyses of support plans to ensure maintenance and logistics support requirements are adequately planned. Conduct funding budget analysis and provide reports. Provide recommendations for developing and modifying alternative Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies for the weapon systems, subsystem and/or support systems to identify the most effective plan to ensure the accomplishment of program objectives. Conduct analyses to recommend enhancements or refinements to ILS plans and ensure planning and documentation includes any Depot Level Maintenance requirements.

Required Skills:

Access and use of automated, serialized tracking data systems and business intelligence (i.e. decision support) applications. Generation of System Requirements for development of logistics modeling/simulation tools. Microsoft Office suite of products.

Experience Required:

Logistician with direct experience in supporting US Naval Sea Logistics Centers or Fleet Industrial Supply Centers. Experience or education demonstrating ability to independently analyze and define DOD weapon systems/equipment ILS requirements, analyze logistics documentation, and define logistic support resource requirements.Please apply online at our career center:
