The Logisitcs Program Manager has responsibility to oversee the supply chain management operations State Departments Diplomatic Security Bureau. The LPM reports to the PM and will coordinate with the Deputy PM for day to day operations. The LPM will oversee task order requirements, and will assist in field support requirments. The LPM will facilitate just in tme logisitcs oiperations for deployment of key technical security equipment in support of the division's installation teams. In addition, the LPM will establish key metrics to manage the flow, stockage levels, and delivery of this equipment. It is anticipated that there will be an equipmnet draw down, consoldation, and relocation efforts in place to streamline logisitcs operations and facilitate rapid deployment of security equipment on a global basis. The LPM wil be required to establish internal Integrated Process Teams among four operation branches to facilitate the elimination of operational gaps.

BS or BA undergraduate degree is preferred with 15+ years hands on experience managing logistics or security projects and programs. MS in Business, Logistics or MBA is desirable. Oversight and management of a large organizations is a required. Successful candidate must understand senior management strategic goals and objectives and know how to implement them programmatically. Relevant work with a COR COTR in a task order or T and M environment is required. Past work experience with Just In Time or SCM Logisitics and logistics operations is a plus. Operational experience at a P and L center is a plus.
