MARKETING MANAGER - INERTIAL SYSTEMS

Description:
This position reports to the VP Inertial Systems. This person defines and delivers Crossbow's marketing strategy for the airborne, land and marine inertial markets.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Planning, including market segmentation, market sizing, business analysis, target segment definition, developing product strategices and roadmaps. Position Crossbow's inertial products to meet key buyer needs in the inertial markets and work with the worldwide Sales and Marketing organizations to meet revenue targets. Develop sales tools and competitive analysis and assist in the training of Crossbow Sales personnel and channels on products and markets. Create a marketing plan that will drive revenue to meet targets including product launches, web site development, white papers, seminars, tradeshows, as well as press releases and analyst strategy. Manage and track milestones against the marketing plan, reporting regularly on milestone attainment and driving adjustments to the plan and strategy as needed. Meet with key partners and customers to obtain market and competitive data for developing product strategies and roadmaps. Integrate marketing activities with key partners.



EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 8+ years of experience in the inertial sensors and systems market. Technical expertise in inertial sensor and system technologies. Proven skills in strategic planning and product definition. Demonstrated excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work across functional areas in the organization. Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for a wide range of audiences including sales personnel, technical customers, executives, technical and financial anlysts and the press. Must have BS or equivalent in a technical discipline. MBA preferred. Travel of up to 25%, including domestic and international.
