Position Description
Argon ST has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pro/E - Pro/Manufacture Programmer and Machinist to help grow our prototype and production business. Utilizing innovative tool making skills and CAM programming, this individual will help grow the fabrication and prototyping side of the business and produce innovative products serving the ruggedized electronics market.
- Use your extensive programming experience with Pro/Manufacturing or Pro/NC to be a technical contributor and innovator for equipment, fixture setups, machining techniques, and programming.
- Take a hands-on approach working with a talented staff of engineers.
- Use your extensive knowledge of Pro/Manufacturing or Wildfire to program 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines to deliver all CNC jobs and customer requirements.
- Order and manage shop supply requirements and budgets.
- Create and implement preventative maintenance requirements for all equipment.
Basic Qualifications
- HS diploma
- Minimum 5 years experience as a skilled CNC machinist with 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines.
- Must have experience with ProE, Pro/Manufacturing or Wildfire.
Other Requirements
- Relevant technical training or Engineering degree preferred.
- Pro/Manufacturing or Pro/NC programming experience preferred. Wildfire experience a plus.
- Must be a motivated self-starter and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Able to run vertical CNC Mills and conventional Mills and Lathes.
- Sophisticated Injection mold tooling experience desired.
- Proficient with typical office computer programs.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
