Education

High School Education required. Bachelors Degree (Engineering, Business, or related) required, Masters Degree preferred. A & P or specific aircraft maintenance training education preferred.

Qualifications3 ? 5 years aircraft modification management experience, including supervisory experience. Broad understanding of aircraft design, manufacturing, product support (retrofit) processes, and regulatory requirements. Multi-systems experience including structures, avionics (including software), mechanical systems, and propulsion. Knowledge of retrofit planning, planning, production modifications, assembly, supply chain processes, and post production retrofits preferred.

Secondary Skills:
PMI Certification. APICS (CPIM, CRM) Certification.


 

Primary ResponsibilitiesSupervise Engineering Change Project Managers in planning and execution of aircraft and components modifications. Plan, organize and execute all aircraft modification management processes in a cross-functional, matrix environment. Coordinate with Program Managers and Configuration Management personnel on pending and approved Engineering Change Requests. Plan, coordinate and ensure completion of all Engineering Change Notices and Engineering Change Orders for all downstream users (Flight Test, Manufacturing, Product Support, Training, Support Equipment, Technical Media, and others). Coordinate all required Engineering, Supply Chain and Planning activities associated with aircraft and component modifications. Ensure coordination of Service Bulletins development/authoring, Service Bulletin kitting, Service Bulletin completion tracking.
