We are seeking a technical manager to provide on-site, day to day operational Management of a DoD Scientific and Technical Information (STI) support center. This STI Support Center assists the research and engineering efforts to reduce the threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). In this position you will be required to handle multiple tasks and coordinate activities with different offices and locations. Activities may include 1) researching, analyzing, and developing products such as technical inquiry responses, technical publications, and technical e-mails on subjects such as WMD operations technology and WMD effects data, and 2) developing spreadsheets, working with databases, and making presentations.

This position requires a Bachelor Degree and a minimum of ten years of experience. Prior experience with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) or government-related organizations, the STI process, RDT&E work with WMD or related projects, experience in coordinating support to government agencies, knowledge of DOD science and technology programs, and information analysis centers is required. In addition, experience using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe Acrobat is also required..

Successful candidates must have a current favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) which requires US Citizenship.
