Manufacturing Resource Planning Controller (MRPC)

Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce an opening for a Manufacturing Resource Planning Controller (MRPC) in our Mt. Vernon, OH facility.

The successful candidate will:

Utilizing the SAP system performing the role of MRPC controller for Fuel, Lube and Start Value Stream. The successful candidates will have the responsibility for gaining the commitment and involvement of the team with regards to MRP responsibilities. The successful candidates will have significant responsibilities including the management of inventory, the continuous improvement of delivery reliability and on-going lead time reduction.  Key Accountabilities: Order fulfillment performance. Evaluation of Customer demand enquiries and commitment to customer. Achievement of commitment acceptance from key interfaces. Effective management of inventory and associated costs. Development of robust supply chains to support customer demands. Development of supply chain practices to mitigate the difference between customer demand and current supply chain capability. Co-ordination of activities to achieve successful new parts introduction.s

Position requirements include:

B.S. or equivalent in a related field (IE, ME, Management, Indus. Tech., etc); 0-10 years in manufacturing or supply chain with SAP experience a plus; customer focus (focus and drive to satisfy customers); robustness (copes well with pressure and with uncertain and changing circumstances); planning (proactive in anticipating problems and developing effective plans and contingencies); solving problems and getting things done; judgment (the ability to make balanced judgments on complex and difficult issues); previous MRP / Parts controller experience would be an advantage, although is not essential; persuasiveness and negotiating skills (commitment acceptance form key interface); effective team building skills; eye for process improvement.
