Material Review Engineer

Full-time Material Review Engineer (MRE) position for Engine Center (Assembly and Test). Responsibilities include but not limited to the review and disposition of all commercial & military non-conforming hardware, damaged at the Engine Center, or assist with the disposition of nonconformances found on incoming parts produced by internal or external suppliers. Work directly with all Engineering disciplines, Quality Engineers, Operations personnel, local on-site DCMA, and suppliers to resolve the specific nonconformance. Actively participate in the process of root cause and corrective action in order to eliminate the potential for problems in the future. Establish day-to-day priorities to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner to support production requirements. Tasks range from EQN disposition of waivers and deviations, and the creation / approval of repair and rework travelers for non-conformancing material.

BS in Engineering.

Proficient in drawing interpretation, specifically P&W drawings. Experienced with the SAP EQN system is a must. 5+ years in Aircraft Engine manufacturing operations. Good communication skills.

This position will allow a candidate to gain valuable experience and familarization in multiple areas of the engine both from an assembly standpoint as well as many of the manufacturing processes used.
