Description

 

The Materials Management Manager will establish AWB as the provider of US101 Material Services capable of meeting Customer needs.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Materials Management Manager will establish AWB as the US101 provider of Material Services, covering:

? Supply management

? Warehousing

? Transportation and packaging

? Supplier management for procurement

? R & O

? Support provision up to active customer interface to focus on providing the required service levels.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

? B.S. Material Logistics or equivalent degree (10+ years of material service experience)

? Self-motivated, hands-on, action oriented style.

? Customer-focused, innovative in solving business problems and challenges.

? Have exemplary inter-personal skills.  Possesses a consensus management style with the ability to lead and motivate a customer service team

? Be comfortable working with an international team and working in a complex international management environment.

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Desired Skills

 

? Expertise in aerospace and defense industry, military hardware systems delivery

? International and Commercial experience

 

Special Considerations:

 

? Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally

 

Security Clearance:

 

? Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified material. U.S. citizenship is required.
