NDT Level II Inspector

Industry processing leader seeking a level II inspector for our second shift. Must have three years experience in liquid penetrant and mag particle inspection. Job Duties: ? Inspect parts / castings in accordance with ASTM standards, CPSs and applicable QAPs. ? Conduct and document all process control requirements IAW ASTM standards, CPSs and applicable QAPs. ? Document all inspections performed IAW applicable QAPs and/or CPSs. ? Maintain proper fluid levels of all inspection material holding tanks. ? Perform minor maintenance as required; i.e. black light bulbs, heat lamps, lubrication, etc. ? Perform good house keeping practices and inspect fire extinguisher?s and emergency eye wash station for serviceability as required ? Maintain aerospace facilities special process accreditations to international standards as required by purchase order flow down; (i.e. NADCAP, FAA/JAA requirements) ? Continual surveillance of methods and personnel involved in the NDT process at all aerospace facilities is essential. ? Support the manufacturing function as required with recommendations on process improvement and/or awareness of process control issues. ? Maintain awareness of changes in technologies as applied to the NDT process used throughout the TASP manufacturing sector ? Pass yearly eye examination with corrected or uncorrected distances ? 12-inch minimum. ? Pass yearly color blindness/vision examination. Working Conditions: ? Work is generally performed in the NDT laboratory; however, work may also be performed on aircraft or in production areas. These areas are not environmentally controlled and will reflect outside weather conditions. ? Physical Requirements: Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Working Hours/Overtime requirements: Normal 40-hour work week. Overtime and weekends as required. Pay to match experience. Medical/Dental insurance.
