Odd Form Final Assembly Production Technician

Assembles, test and debugs machine assemblies and custom applications in the Odd Form and Final Assembly Division.  Builds sub-assemblies and complete machine assemblies. Assembles through all mechanical and pneumatic phases. Improves specific parts or functions as required for compilation of final documents. Has sufficient software knowledge to operate and insturct the machine in basick programming functions.  Install and supports completed machines.  Assemble and test applications tolling and integrate into bas machine. Fabricates parts. Sets upa nd operates a full range of machine tools. Uses precision and non-precision hand tools, gauges, etc.  May route or connect wires/cables to finished assemblies/sub assemblies or machine frame.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to access and manipulate various objects, tools, or controls.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is reguarly exposed to vibration.  The employee must occasionally move heavy objects.  The ability to travel to customer sites or technical  conferences may occasionally be required.
