PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

 

 

Denver based Intermap Technologies, a GIS/geospatial leader building highly accurate digital elevation datasets through the remapping entire countries, has an immediate opening for a Product Marketing Manager.

 

Job Description

The main responsibility of the Product Marketing Manager is to assess user and business needs in order to identify technology requirements as defined by clients. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker who works well within a project and client team, and can serve as a communication bridge between non-technical users, technical solution developers, finance, engineering, and marketing research.

 

Ultimately, the Product Marketing Manager will collaborate with team members to define functional requirements and lend his/her expertise towards product pricing, development, and deployment.

 

Primary Responsibilities Assess user and business needs to identify product/marketing requirements Develop use case models by outlining the product functionality Work with engineering, finance, and marketing research to drive and understand functional requirements of end-user?s experience Understand customer and user requirements, strategies and goals

 

RequirementsThe Product Marketing Manager must possess superior technological skills to understand the technical architecture of the solutions, and great communication skills, both interpersonal and written. The ideal candidate also has an intimate knowledge of the geospatial market, products, and technologies. Responsibilities Excellent problem solving skills Good communication and writing skills Strong analytical skills Excellent interview and client interaction skills Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams (including creative) Ability to write business/customer requirements document and functional specifications Experience working with business clients to understand their business strategies, key drivers Geospatial experience in product management a real plus Undergraduate degree in business or engineering - MBA is a strong asset

 

This position is located in Englewood, (Denver)Colorado and reports to the Vice President of Marketing. Local candidates preferred, no relocation provided.
