Principal Engineer-Quality

Description: Provide Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Engineering support to the EELV program.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Supports the program office at manufacturing, quality assurance and business management meetings/reviews.
-Facilitates the development of a quality and mission assurance program that directly contributes to mission success.
--Develop a tracking system for tracking and reporting on all quality and mission success issues through closure.
--Develop a process for tracking quality non-conformances, scrap/rework, escapements, and waivers and deviations.
--Develop a Quality and Mission
Assurance Lessons Learned database.
-Provide engineering supprto for the implementation and sustainment of the quality and mission assurance program.
-Support the development of a process to measure the health and status of the quality and mission assurance program.
--Assist in the development of Quality adn Mission Assurance metrics to help trend program status.
--Support the development of Quality and Mission Assurance manufacturing milestone meetings (i.e. CDR, PDR, ERB, MRB....)
-Provide engineering support to monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes.
--Review engineering changes and provide recommendations to the program office.
--Track and trend manufacturing processes to assess the health and status of the manufacturing process.

Qualifications:
Min 5 years with Bachelors degree or equivalent professional work experience. Secret clearance required.
