Principal Systems Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position will report directly to the Dirictor, National Counter Terrorism / Counter Insurgency Integrated Test & Evaluation Center and will assume overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and oversight of the upgrade of the NACCITEC in accordance with the approved Upgrade Plan.  This facility is being developed by the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground as a National Test Center for testing of equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedures for the detection and defeat of counterterrorism equipment and methods.  Strong program management skills are essential to develop detailed plans for the execution of the Upgrade Plan; requiring the incumbent to identify all personnel, equipment, and processes for implementation of the plan, develop coordinated schedules for plan execution, and oversee execution of the plan.  The LSI will also serve as an advisor to the NACITTEC Director and provide timely progress reports, identify problems and develop corrective actions for recommendation to NACCITEC as required, for successful plan completion.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

BS or BA in related field.  Must possess 5+ years demonstrated experience as a test engineer  or related position. Candidate must possess a proven track record of integrating various products / systems as a team lead and or Program Manager. Sound personnel management skills are required to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships among the various government and contractor personnel that comprise the NACCITEC team.  Candidates should have a strong math/science/engineering background.  Experience in Test and Evaluation, or subject matter expertise in Counterterrorism is not essential, but is an advantage.
