The Turbine Module Center for Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies is looking for a Process Investment Casting Engineer to:
Develop casting technology to advance the state-of-the-art. Develop processes for advanced hardware. Technical interface with internal and external customers and suppliers. Enhance the quality of cast product. Identify lead-time / cost reduction & waste opportunities. Working knowledge of conventional, columnar and Single Crystal processes.


BS or MS in Metallurgy, Materials or Ceramic Engineering or Equivalent

Engineering with minimum 5 years experience as a Process Engineer in the Aerospace or Industrial Gas Turbine investment casting industry. Experience with Turbine airfoils is required. Strong problem solving ability, capable of identifying root cause of the problem and lead implementation of cost effective and timely countermeasures. Experience with Design of Experiments preferred. Understanding of Rapid Prototype methods a plus.

40% travel required - some international.
