Procurement Coordinator

This position will support the Senior Buyer in day to day purchasing requirements.  Candidate must be capable of prioritizing heavy workloads and will be responsible for maintaining current, accurate and complete delivery status in purchasing systems. 

 

Required to maintain excellent working relationships with suppliers and Program personnel across all disciplines to ensure solid customer service and satisfaction.

 

Responsible for tracking purchase orders and verifying delivery dates.  Position will expedite orders, consolidate documentation in files and maintain purchasing databases in excel. Handle any receipt/invoice discrepancies with suppliers with direction from Senior Buyer.

 

Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Qualifications:  Good interpersonal skills.  Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office and Excel.  Must have excellent communication skills.
