Product Assurance Manager
Major Responsibilities: · Act as MCO?s management-level, independent internal advocate for product integrity. Provide an independent focus that assures our products and service meet customer requirements and/or negotiated contract criteria, from proposal phase to product delivery.
? Provide information to other members of management regarding product integrity issues, to enable informed decisions regarding assessment of inherent risks, and about processes that affect cost, delivery, and compliance.
? Serve as a key liaison to our customers. Drive the integrity and credibility of our products, systems and procedures, supporting audits, comments or complaints from customers, regarding product quality and reliability.
? Manage and coordinate the investigation and resolution of all significant product failures and systemic problems affecting product quality and integrity.
? Promote the exchange of technical information between programs and departments.
? Oversee a staff of 4 Product Quality Engineers
Experience/Background Required:
? Requires a minimum 10 years? recent, broad-range technical experience, specifically in an Aerospace or Spacecraft Design/Manufacturing/Product Quality Assurance environment.
? Experience must include demonstrated leadership and process skills. ?Six Sigma? Black Belt Certification highly desired.
? Minimum undergrad technical degree required. Prefer Masters degree or the equivalent in additional experience.
