Product Engineer

L-3 Communications, Linkabit Division is engaged in the development of state-of-the-art communications products and systems.  Our close-knit team of talented employees has remained at the forefront of the industry for over 30 years. We're currently seeking an innovative Product Engineer to join our unique team as we continue our history of excellence.

 

The Product Engineer will field/bench testing of communications and electronic warfare products, will work with the design engineering staff to improve product performance.  The candidate will be supporting customer applications through electronic and face to face interaction, completing field installations and training assignments (possibly foreign locations), working with business development to identify new business opportunities, working on business capture teams to identify new business and products.

A qualified candidate will have 10+ years of military communications experience as a planner, operator, or technical support role.  Must have experience with HF/VHF/UHF radio equipment and/or SATCOM equipment.  Industry experience in supporting new product development, customer support including field engineering, training, and installation is required.  Must have demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt to diverse opportunities through superior initiative.
