Product Support/Logistics Manager

Sensis currently has an opening for a Logistics Manager in our Syracuse, NY office.

In this role you will be responsible to:
Plan and execute the logistics and long-term support strategy for key Sensis business area and associated products & programs
Lead logistics program and proposal activities to meet or exceed all contract/proposal requirements
Work closely with program/product/engineering/customer teams to influence design and development activities to optimize supportability factors and life cycle cost
Lead, coordinate and manage all logistics elements including maintenance concept/planning, technical manuals, training, Logistics Management Information (LMI), supply support, etc
Plan and manage all follow-on support activities for long-term support during and after the production phase to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction
Coordinate and manage the development and release of logistics products with associated product improvements and upgrades for the life of the products
Coordinate and manage subcontractors as necessary to provide a seamless support system/strategy.
Plan resources and budgets and execute the plans

In order to be successful in this role you will need:
Proven logistics management experience, strong logistics proposal experience, a solid understanding of all logistics elements and their interdependencies, and a working knowledge of ILS guidance documents and standards
Solid understanding and experience in Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) methodologies a strong plus
Candidate should be an innovator who is motivated to bring new ideas and approaches to solving problems
Candidate should possess proven knowledge/experience working with electronics systems
Candidate should be self-motivated, possess strong program management skills, team skills, oral and written communication skills, and be able to influence change across the organization
Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of applicable experience.
