Program Manager

Aurora Flight Sciences, a leader in unmanned aerial vehicle technology for research, defense and homeland security organizations is looking for an experienced Program Manager to join our growing team at our Bridgeport, WV facility. This position requires a sense of urgency, attention to detail, multi-tasking ability, and thorough follow up capabilities. The ideal candidate must be analytical, with ability to work with deadlines and at all levels of an organization.

 

The Program Manager acts as the company focal point for customer program performance; to include schedule, quality, and cost/profitability.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

? Manages a Statement of Work and processes associated with specific program customer activities.

? Supports company operations in daily management of sustaining processes.

? Ensures visibility and communications to management on upcoming actions and plans.

? Is instrumental in the consultation between program objectives and manufacturing.

? Supports contract negotiations, administrative agreements, and contract changes and modifications.

? Monitors and assists in contract performance reporting, assists with completing deliverables and resolves contractual issues.

? Reports and resolves activities, significant events and problems to multiple team leaders and management.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

1.  B.S. in Engineering or other related discipline.

2.  10+ years experience operating as a Project/Program Manager.

3.  Exceptional presentation skills (verbal and written).

4.  Excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

5.  High level of computer proficiency.

6.  P.M.P. certification.7.  Ability to travel as required.
