Program/Pricing Manager - Cost Accounting Manager

Job Title: Program/Pricing Manager



Summary Under the general supervision of the Controller/Sr. Manager, this position is responsible for preparation and review of pricing data, overhead rates, capital budges and justifications, Fixed / Variable overhead spending plans and other operational reports and audit reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

▪Capital Budgeting

▪Support Proposal / Pricing Process

▪Oversee overhead rate calculation and pricing rates

▪Conduct fixed vs. variable OH analysis

▪Capital Budgeting, cost analysis and justification

▪Build and validate pricing models

▪Support and review of annual strategic plan

▪Over / under applied overhead review and reconciliation

▪Understanding, adherence and revisions (as applicable) of company?s government disclosure statement

▪Prep and review of incurred cost submission

▪Support internal and external audits as applicable????????

▪DCAA Government Audit coverage, interface and support

??????????? ▪Analyze gross margin actual to plan variances

▪Review and analysis role in preparation of annual financial plan

??????????? ▪Generate pricing models to be used in quoting new business

??????????? ▪Oversee capital projects justification process

??????????? ▪Special projects, as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities? Directly supervises 1-2 employee(s).? Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements? The individual chosen for position must have the following experience.

10 years experience on the floor for a manufacturing production company(s) and??

1-2 years Supervisory experience.? Process Center Operations and Indirect Budget experience.

Program forward estimates (ETC/EAC).? DoD experience, includes FAR/CAS as well as GAAP,

DCAA/(other Government) Audit experience, Production Process Center Operations experience

ERP package/maintenance experience

?Summary Under the general supervision of the Controller/Sr. Manager, this position is responsible for operations and process center cost accounting activity for government contracts, to include inventory valuation of records, cost of sales calculations, inventory reserve analysis, project estimates at completion and estimates to complete and government audits; in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and government FAR/CAS reporting requirements.
