Project Administrator

Description:
Serve as Project Administrator supporting administrative and financial aspects for a large multi-project program in RTDC. Support administrative and financial aspects for a multi-project program in the RTDC. Monitor, analyze and interact with Program Manager and customer representatives on financial status of programs. Utilize the internal Management Information Systems in conjunction with Excel to provide analysis of actual and projected costs for programs.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and support customer briefings as required. Prepare monthly financial reports as required per the contract. Assist the Program Managers with resource and procurement planning activities. Provide support for a variety of program administrative functions including: Adherence to CDRL and other deliverable requirements, financial oral presentations, contractual/funding issues and forecasts, and supporting general business issues.

Qualifications:
Required:
BS/BA in Business Administration or a related field. Understanding of Laboratory's fiscal policies, practices, procedures and contractual requirements. Highly motivated self-starter, capable of independent operations and attention to detail. Excellent MS Excel proficiency. Understanding of prime contracts and subcontracts. Demonstrated oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment. Demonstrated familiarity with DoD security matters and procedures.

Desired:
5 years of experience in the areas of financial management and analysis. Project administration experience with DoD programs. Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development. Proficiency with APL Business Systems, e.g., Data Warehouse, RMIS, SA, FPB, etc. Previous knowledge and/or training of basic Government contracting. Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS, and federal pricing practices. Experience with proposal preparation reporting software, cost models and earned value reporting.
