Project Engineer (Purchased Completes)

BELCAN AETD is currently looking for a Project Engineer to lead a Purchased Completes IPD team from concept initialization to production support in our Hamilton Sundstrand (HS) Office. Purchased Completes are defined as supplier Engineered items. Engineering defines the requirements in a procurement spec and then manages the technical aspects of the program. Candidates MUST HAVE a Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of seven years experience in aerospace design and manufacturing. The successful aspirant will have experience with project management, design processes, technical specifications, qualification tests and reports. Experience or knowledge of electric heaters, smoke detectors, filters and ozone converters is highly desirable. Knowledge of RTCA-DO 160 and MIL-STD 810 is required. This position requires coordination with Purchasing, Production Control and other Engineering staff. Good personal skills and pro-active attitude are necessary with extensive coordination between customer and suppliers. Some travel required. Former Hamilton Sundstrand employees preferred.
