Project Manager

Project management position where candidate will lead project teams, develop and execute project plans spanning multiple PROJECT TEAMS AND MULTIPLE organizations, provide visibility and status reporting to management and ensure customer expectations are satisfied. The candidate must be proficient in project management SKILLS and have the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Candidate will interface with managers and employees from the client, other companies, countries and cultures. He/she will interface with employees in the business units as well as IT groups.

 

JOB SKILLS: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:

Knowledge of systems integration, scope definition and control, activity estimating and time management, organizational planning, information distribution and performance reporting, risk identification and mitigation in order to support information technology projects. Must have strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well (oral/written) to a diverse audience. Strong analytical skills to gather, organize, and evaluate data as it relates to projects, and the ability to create process documentation. Education Preferred advanced degree in Computer Science or related discipline with exp in one or more IT specialized areas. Project Management Certification is preferred AS WELL AS PROFICIENCY WITH MACROSCOPE PROJECT MANAGEMENT DELIVERABLES. Typically persons in this position would possess 10 yrs of applicable exp.
