Proposal Analyst/Contracts Admin:

 

 

General Job Description:  Candidate will be responsible for the sourcing of parts, manufacturers, tooling, services and/or supplies and purchasing of parts, materials and other supplies as necessary. Candidate will compile and analyze supplier information, and review pricing trends and manufacturing processes, and determine feasibility of buying products and establishing price objectives.  Candidate will confer with suppliers and analyze suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.  Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.


Ideal candidate will have strong research skills, computer skills, and will be able to quickly learn internal procurement systems. Solid organizational skills are necessary in order to maintain accurate records.  Seeking candidate with a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Will provide training.

 

Required Skills:  2 + years of technical administrative experience managing and coordinating the preparation of Federal Government requirements in answer to Requests for Proposals (RFP?s, RFQ?s) is preferred but not required. Good working knowledge of FAR and DFAR.  Knowledge and experience in comparable business ventures to this job (Aircraft Maintenance service industry) is highly desirable, along with good oorganizational skills, ability to Multi-task, and a team player. 

 

Analytical individual with strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication and problem solving skills. Proven ability to interface with senior management and work independently

 

Required Education:  Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited 4 year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.

 

Compensation and Benefits:  CU Enterprises, Ltd. may choose to hire for this position at the current posted skill level requirement or at a lesser skill level requirement.  Position title and level will commensurate with experience and education.  Commission structure involved with other company benefits.
