Quality Assurance Engineer

GKN Aerospace is a global manufacturer of aircraft transparencies for commercial and military application. The persons we seek will be responsible for supporting operations with a view towards reducing the cost of poor quality and for ensuring strict adherence to our business plans and QA systems.

 

Duties and responsibilities include the following:

 

* Improve and maintain customer quality ratings

* Support collection of data to reduce cost of poor quality

* Facilitate root cause analysis and problem resolution within

manufacturing cells.

* Conduct system audits.

* Maintain quality manual

* Ensure FAA compliance

* Identify quality control points and error proofing (poke-yoke) for new

products.

* Generate first article inspection plans.
