Job Qualifications (Quality Control Assurance Inspector):

The desired candidate must meet the following requirements:At least 3 years experience in a QA inspection role within an Aerospace distributing environment.Comprehensive understanding of aerospace raw materials, hardware, components, and chemicals.Strong verbal and written communication skillsProblem solving abilities in all QA competenciesAggressively implement QA compliancesCommitment to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures relating to QA functions.Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, through knowledge and strong problem solving ability.Team playerWiling to handle pressures and be flexibleDetail-oriented, multi-task oriented and the ability to organize and prioritizePC and Microsoft Office literate

 

Job Description:

El Segundo, CA-based aerospace parts exporter seeking smart and dedicated individual for full-time position. Must be a highly motivated individual with a professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:Material and products inspectionsControl of discrepant productsReport defective material or any other unusual circumstances or condition to supervision. Perform similar and other related duties as required.Provide administrative and technical direction to the Receiving and Shipping staff Improve and implements inspection standards, methods, and procedures to ensure compliance with FAA, manufactures, and customer requirements. Review and monitor compliance to the Quality ManualsProvide training of all phases of inspection to include receiving and final inspection activities.Drive company efforts to meet regulatory and industry requirements such as AS9120 ISO9001:2000, FAA and others as required, with a view to foresee continuous improvement.Report defective material or any other unusual circumstances or condition to supervision. Perform similar and other related duties as required.Responsible for the Corrective and Preventive Action for the Receiving and Shipping Dept.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned;Aggressively manage and pursue customer accountsMeet sales quotasEvaluate RFQs and conduct negotiations with overseas customersMeet daily RFQ deadlinesCommunicate daily with customersDevelop terms and conditions in agreement with company requirementsIdentify and source a wide variety of Aviation chemicals/hazardous materialsProcess Sales Orders and Purchase OrdersNegotiate best pricing with suppliersPerform follow-ups on QuotesEnsure on-time delivery to customersEnsure supplier performance on Purchase OrdersDevelop alternate sources of supplyUnderstand and comply with Quality Control proceduresProcess Return of Quality rejections when material does not meet specifications and requirementsOversee shipping & receiving functions within the Dept.
