As a Quality Engineer/Supervisor for Paragon Precision Inc., you will be an important member of the team that assures product quality; confirms quality requirements; evaluates and approves production; improves product processing, quality reliability, and quality policies; provides management planning information.

Qualifications

Required

Competently analyzes, prioritizes information, makes appropriate recommendations. Implements solutions and monitors results.

Knowledge of quality concepts, including Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and quality analysis techniques.

Exposure to computer drafting and CMM inspection utilizing software such as PC Dimis & Unigraphics.

Understands technology and stays current with industry trends, particularly ISO 9001 & AS9100.

Preferred

Supports innovation through observation and collaboration with peers.

Develops departmental policies, procedures, and workflows.

Manages processes to monitor and to maximize performance. Certification as a Black Belt.

Capable of profit and loss responsibility through setting financial goals and managing budgets.

Experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives for internal control and supplier management.

Knowledge of 4 & 5axis machining, with exposure to Turbomachinery or similar complex shaped and contoured products.
