Quality and Compliance Manager

Grand Prairie Accessory Services, LLC performs test, repair and overhaul of commercial aircraft engine accessories including pneumatic starters, bleed valves, anti ice valves, hydraulic pumps and actuators, mechanical gearboxes, fuel pumps and controls as well as a number of engine monitoring components like temperature sensors and pressure transmitters.  Other components include environmental control systems, thrust reverser actuators and airframe accessories.

 

GPAS employs 90 people including a staff of 9 Inspectors. GPAS is seeking to strengthen its Quality Team. Specifically we are looking for an individual with Quality Management Experience.  Prior experience in an FAA / EASA approved Overhaul and Repair Setting or in the new make side of Aircraft Engine Part Manufacturing would be a plus. 

 

A back ground in Hazardous Material Management for training  and plant compliance would alos be helpful as this activity will fall under the Compliance Manager's office.

 

The ideal candidate will posess but not limited to the following:

*BS in Engineering or other technical field

*5 years experience in manufacturing or repairing aircraft enginecomponents

*Strong ability to develop, organize, and produce technical documents, process maps, and training programs.

*Intimate familiarity with FAA regulations

*Familiarity and experience with EPA & OSHA regulations

*Extensive Quality System Audit experience

*Experience with ISO 9001 implementation
