R & D Scheduler

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The R&D Project Scheduler/Planner will be responsible for preparing, developing, coordinating and integrating all levels of program plans and schedules accurately and comprehensively. This will include converting requirements from technical leads into schedules, performing schedule and risk management, critical path analysis, preparation and reporting of metrics, tracking and ensuring scheduled milestones are completed on time, assist with CAMS in daily requirements, and analyzing program performance in order to develop work strategies aligned to meet goals; work across technical disciplines to ensure schedule accuracy and comprehensively define technical work content, relationships, and duration.  Will be responsible for evaluating impact on schedule related to changes in customer and program requirements; support program risk and opportunity development and mitigation; integrate change management processes consistent with customer requirements, company goals and best practices. Must be able to translate customer requirements into an integrated master schedule.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years experience as an R&D product development planner/scheduler.  Must possess extensive knowledge of technical disciplines, program management, program life cycles, Critical Path Methodology analysis and resolution, risk management techniques, Earned Value Management Systems processes and applications, and metrics analysis and reporting. Requires the ability to expertly use Primavera and Microsoft Office Applications.  Position requires confidentiality, excellent verbal and written communications skills and initiative to make things happen.
