RF Design Engineer

The RF Design Engineer functions in a product or technology program in Hardware Development. Responsible for designing, developing, documenting, prototyping and testing circuits for cellular base station microwave receivers and transmitters including frequency synthesizers, phase lock loops, power control circuits, etc. Participates in product technical reviews and supports company-wide technical information exchange.


 


· Responsible for specifying, planning, reporting, designing and testing in his/her project area.


· Works in a product creation project with responsibility of specifying a component or multiple components of a product or several products.


· Solves complex engineering problems in a technology area.


· Coaches other team members in solving engineering problems.


· May provide technical training to other engineers.


· Design, develop, document, prototype and test circuits and subassemblies for cellular base station microwave receivers and transmitters to meet project cost, schedule and technical requirements.


· Support project RF design activities by participating in design reviews, technical information exchange sessions.


· Guide topology, layout and design decisions of microwave PCBs to ensure the final product meets market requirements.


 





Requirements:





B.S, M.S or the equivalent


Minimum of 3 years experience an R&D environment


Experience in RF circuit design, integration and debugging.


RF circuits analysis.


Wireless/cellular experience a plus.


Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) experience such as EEsof J-Omega, Touchstone, Libra, Compact, HP MDS, etc.
